Your role with us:
No two days will be the same, but you’ll be operating at both a strategic and commercial level. You will own a portfolio of regulated market partnerships, ensuring all activity aligns with local requirements, regulatory frameworks and brand guidelines. Your core focus will be to deliver sponsorship strategies that balance creativity, performance and governance. This role is accountable for shaping market-specific sponsorship approaches, evaluating new opportunities, managing key partner relationships, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across regulated jurisdictions.

What you will do
- Own and manage the sponsorship strategy and partnership portfolio across assigned regulated markets, ensuring alignment with business objectives, licensing requirements, and local market priorities.
- Lead the identification, evaluation, negotiation, and management of sponsorship opportunities within regulated jurisdictions, applying clear commercial, brand, and compliance criteria.
- Act as the primary relationship owner for key regulated-market partners, maintaining senior-level engagement and long-term partnership value.
- Work in close collaboration with regulated-market Country Managers to align sponsorship strategies with local market objectives, commercial priorities, and regulatory considerations.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management of sponsorship partnerships in regulated markets, working closely with local Marketing Managers to ensure aligned execution and delivery.
- Develop and oversee market-specific sponsorship plans that support market entry, growth, and retention objectives.
- Ensure all sponsorship activity in regulated markets complies with local regulatory frameworks, advertising standards, and internal governance requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Content, VIP, Legal, and Compliance teams to integrate sponsorships into broader go-to-market and campaign strategies.
- Provide oversight and approval of regulated-market sponsorship activations, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance across markets.
- Monitor and evaluate sponsorship performance across regulated markets, using defined KPIs and reporting frameworks to inform optimisation and future investment decisions.
- Prepare and present sponsorship updates, recommendations, and performance insights to Head of Sponsorships.
- Manage sponsorship budgets within regulated markets, ensuring disciplined spend, value for money, and clear ROI justification.
- Identify risks, challenges, or changes in regulatory landscapes and proactively adjust sponsorship strategies accordingly.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sponsorship frameworks, processes, and governance models for regulated markets.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and functional oversight to team members supporting regulated-market sponsorships, fostering high standards of delivery and accountability.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience managing sponsorships, partnerships, or brand marketing initiatives within regulated or multi-market environments.
- Proven ability to lead and optimise sponsorship portfolios, including evaluation, negotiation, and ongoing partner management.
- Strong understanding of regulated market considerations, including advertising standards, compliance frameworks, and approval processes, with experience working closely alongside legal and compliance teams.
- Experience developing and implementing market-specific sponsorship strategies aligned to broader commercial and brand objectives.
- Ability to operate as a senior partner-facing lead, managing relationships with rights holders, agencies, and external stakeholders at a strategic level.
- Proven capability to collaborate effectively with Country Managers and local Marketing teams to align sponsorship activity with market priorities.
- Experience overseeing sponsorship execution across multiple markets, providing governance, guidance, and quality control rather than hands-on delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing sponsorship budgets, evaluating ROI, and making data-informed investment decisions.
- Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into clear recommendations for optimisation and future planning.
- Confident communicator with experience presenting sponsorship strategies, performance updates, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
