About Allied Health at Cabrini
Cabrini’s Allied Health team represents 12 professional disciplines and is a dynamic, growing part of our integrated care model. The department offers a structured rotation and support program for early-career clinicians, leadership and senior consultant opportunities, involvement in clinical streams, and access to professional development and research pathways. With the appointment of a Senior Allied Health Research Consultant, we are expanding our commitment to multi-disciplinary research and academic partnerships.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Grade 1 Speech Pathologist to join our team.

This role is ideal for new graduates or clinicians with less than 18 months of experience. Prior hospital exposure — whether through placements or work experience — is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, sound clinical knowledge, and a commitment to evidence-based assessment and management of adult communication and swallowing disorders.

This is a fixed tern term position until November 2026.

About you

Along with your passion for speech pathology, you will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia

  • Passionate about adult communication and swallowing management across a range of clinical presentations

  • Experienced or familiar with hospital-based practice (clinical placements or work experience)

  • Skilled in time management and adaptable in a dynamic clinical environment

  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • Committed to ongoing professional development and clinical research

  • Able to work both independently and within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

  • Aligned with Cabrini’s Mission, Values, and Speech Pathology Australia’s Code of Ethics
