Role Overview

To develop high quality, multi-product technical specifications and grow our specification funnel by championing our green roof, living wall, and wider sustainability and reuse offering across our key market sectors. The role will build strong engagement with the design community, including consultants, architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, and clients; while driving pull through by collaborating closely with main contractors, specialist contractors, local authorities, and utility providers.

This role will cover the South Wales and South West regions, including the major cities of Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Swansea, Birmingham, and the surrounding areas.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong, high‑quality, multi‑product technical specifications.
  • Manage the project opportunity pipeline robustly to support specification growth.
  • Build awareness of the Sky Garden offering with the design community.
  • Create specifications that provide solutions spanning the full build process.
  • Promote Sky Garden's sustainability and reuse offering to consultants, architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, and clients.
  • Deliver CPDs monthly and engage with stakeholders to drive technical understanding.
  • Provide project updates, mapping, and maintain accurate specification records.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance on construction sites and in line with UK regulations.
  • Report all accidents and major incidents as required.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to support continuous improvement and strategy deployment.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience specifying similar products.
  • Previous experience delivering CPDs.
  • Good time management and diary planning skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to all levels of management.
  • Capable of working autonomously and setting own goals.
  • Computer literate.
  • Full clean driving licence.
