Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Specialty Sales Representative, COPD to join our Respiratory team. This role is field-based and reports directly to the Regional Business Manager. This position covers the Southwest Ontario territory, including Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, Cambridge, London, and Windsor. The ideal candidate will reside in or near the covered territory.
As a Specialty Sales Representative, you will be responsible for executing strategic business plans that drive customer engagement and maximize the value of GSK’s innovative respiratory portfolio, specifically for people living with COPD. You will lead business development initiatives, foster meaningful customer relationships with pulmonologists, respirologists, pharmacists, and allied health teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation of territory strategies. You will work closely with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, Patient Support, and Marketing teams to improve patient access and deliver measurable business results.

Build and execute strategic territory plans for hospital and specialty care settings across the assigned ON Southwest territory
Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with pulmonologists, respirologists, pharmacists, and allied care teams
Deliver targeted educational and scientific engagements in collaboration with MSLs and other cross-functional partners
Identify and addressing access barriers by partnering with Market Access and patient support teams
Use data and insights to identify opportunities, measure impact and drive territory performance
Communicate clinical and scientific information effectively and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs
Manage resources and territory budgets effectively to create value for customers and demonstrate ROI
Ensure all activities follow compliance, regulatory, and company standards

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally in hospital, specialty, respiratory, or biologic settings
Proven track record of building relationships with specialists and hospital stakeholders
Strong commercial and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to territory planning
Ability to analyze data and use insights to inform territory strategy and decision-making
Experience working in teaching hospitals or academic medical centres
Previous experience with respiratory disease or COPD in a specialty setting
History of successful cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Market Access, or Marketing teams
Comfort using multi-channel engagement methods, including in-person, remote, and digital tools
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to clinical audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
