The Specialty Pharmacy Technician performs the technician responsibilities in specialized areas of pharmacy practice under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner.
HS Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Virginia Pharmacy Tech License (Required) and CPhT License (Received through the NHA or PTCB) (Required)
Two years of pharmacy experience (Required)

Sentara Independence houses state-of-the-art medical equipment and highly-skilled physicians and staff. Sentara Independence is now an extension of the quality services at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital including advanced imaging and physical therapy.
