Job Description:

You will support the Organization Effectiveness team in all initiatives centered around OE governance, policy, and guideline development.  Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Organization Effectiveness (OE) Governance, you will work regularly with members of the OE team, across HR COEs, HRBPs and Control function partners to proactively address and remediate regulatory and policy related issues and support the implementation of various projects.    

The Specialized HR Analyst II provides a broad range of support, analysis and guidance on the development, design and delivery of HR solutions and advice for various businesses/functions.

Depth & Scope:

  • Experienced professional role providing specialized guidance/ assistance to function supported
  • Requires experienced, conceptual and practical knowledge within their own specialty and knowledge of broader related areas
  • Accountable for own work and sometimes others; acts as an escalation point or knowledge resource for others in their own area
  • Works within broad guidelines / policies and independently performs tasks from end to end
  • Solves moderately complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Conveys business context when providing guidance within field of specialty to internal or external stakeholders
  • Work performed under minimal management guidance and supervision


 

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience

Customer Accountabilities:

  • Provides specialized HR related research, evaluation, operations and reporting to support and advise businesses; analyzing and supporting the development and design of HR solutions
  • Conducts analysis, evaluation / assessment and review of business performance/ processes/ initiatives related to HR
  • Interacts with internal/external partners, organize meetings/ events or facilitate learning sessions/ presentations for dissemination of information
  • Sources and assesses information to support recommendations
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for improvement to process, tools, fine tuning forms, tracking, reporting, etc. for the functions supported
  • Develops and/or prepares applicable HR standards and metrics within area of specialty, in collaboration with partners and stakeholders for assigned businesses
  • Supports the development of enterprise HR policies/ programs or the delivery of these programs via specialized HR functional areas or program administration units
  • Coordinates and may lead policy related meetings / discussions and address any implementation issues / concerns
  • Supports the development, implementation and understanding of training material, reports, presentations and procedures for new policies and/or processes
  • Conducts impact assessments on employees when changes in policies/processes are proposed

  • Conducts internal and external research projects; support the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience

  • Identifies, recommends and effectively executes standard practices applicable to the discipline
  • Identifies issues, trends and gaps, and initiates investigations within defined parameters
  • Protects the interests of the organization – identifies and manages risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk transactions / activities as necessary
  • Maintains a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
