About the Role

To raise the competency standards of the sales force in providing quality financial advice to the customers by ensuring the regulatory requirements under Sales Advisory process are fulfilled through regular review/monitoring and embark of digitalisation via system enhancement

Overview of Sales Conduct Monitoring & Improvement:

  • Interpretation of Data Analytics (DA) & root cause analysis
  • Develop & conduct targeted training/coaching programs
  • Enhance systems/sales advisory guidance to reduce sales conduct issues
  • Monitor effectiveness and adjust measures
  • Work closely with DA team to refine future DA to improve effectiveness in identifying trends for Districts or Personnels

Sales Advisory

  • Develop the standards relating to sales advisory and liaise with the stakeholders
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop and improve on controls in iPOS system, endorsement system etc.

Customer centricity & Agent CSAT Score Project

  • Be the point of contact for SBQ on customer centricity related projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate between stakeholders (eg. iSmart, Marketing & Proposition, BIO)
  • Drive customer centricity outcome through reps and leaders
  • Identify key levers to encourage/motivate or punish (carrot and stick) rep/leader

MAS, Group Internal Audit & Compliance

  • Interpret requests for reviews and queries
  • Analyse, brainstorm solutions and carry out tasks
  • Draft replies and reports to reply or conclude reviews or audits

Replacement of Policies (ROP) Appeal Management

  • Work with the stakeholders to ensure that scope and operational aspect of the system is accurate
  • Perform second level review on the ROP appeal management

Pre-Transactions Check

  • Conduct system enhancements & refine SOP
  • Timely review of FHR (Financial Health Review) documents for sales quality before issuance of policies

                       

District Sharing and Common mailbox

  • Coordinate & Conduct training sessions with the agencies to facilitate better understanding of the T&C requirements and FHR standards at location.
  • Handling of common mailbox relating to sales advisory related queries

Requirements:

  • Education – Tertiary education
  • Experience – At least 5 years of experience in life insurance industry
  • Certifications/licenses –

​ - Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Examinations – Module 5 (Rules & Regulations for Financial Advisory Services)

- Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Examinations – Module 9 (Life Insurance & Investment Linked Policies)
- Health Insurance Module

  • Sound knowledge in MAS’ Financial Advisers Act (FAA), relevant notices, regulations and guidelines; LIA Guidelines, Product Knowledge and Company’s procedures and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
