Job Description :

Specialist, Provisioning

Department: Network Engineering and Operations

Reports to: Manager, Service Activation and Delivery

Summary 

  • Under general supervision, process and support Breezeline Business VOIP, PRI, Commercial WiFi and standard voice orders and services for all regions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Perform remote provisioning of devices and associated portals related to the above services

  • Manage tasks within the sales environment systems related to open sales opportunities

  • Place orders to acquire necessary equipment to fulfill pending installations

  • Obtain Customer Service Records (CSRs) from customer’s current telephone service provider

  • Enter customer address and billing information into the Breezeline billing system

  • Transfer and verify information between billing and data systems for third party order processing 

  • Assign static IP addresses and provide information to customers as required

  • Coordinate with Sales and field personnel to ensure that all aspects of orders are processed as accurately and efficiently as possible

  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external colleagues and customers during installation and support activities for enterprise level services

  • Assist in the resolution of tickets related to commercial voice, WiFi and mobile porting issues

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Google Workspace application suite and Salesforce

  • Familiarity with data modems, MTAs, ATAs, Hosted PBX equipment, VOIP networking, SIP Protocol, IP routing and switching, mobile phones, WiFi, PRI and associated enterprise equipment is preferred

Education and/or Experience

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees in the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percents and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables standardized situations.
