Specialist Product Owner

 

 

So, what’s the role all about? 

We are looking for a Specialist Product Owner to contribute to NiCE's financial crime and compliance SaaS platform. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role suited for an experienced product professional with 7–10 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in a Product Owner capacity.

How will you make an impact? 

• Translate strategic business goals into clear, actionable product outcomes that R&D teams can successfully deliver.

• Define functional specifications, create prototypes, and collaborate closely with engineering teams all while maintaining a strong focus on product–market fit and exceptional user experience.
• Lead backlog refinement, prioritization of work items, and cross-functional alignment with key stakeholders to ensure efficient and transparent product delivery.
• Drive end-to-end product execution from ideation through launch ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery aligned with business priorities.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers early, facilitating resolutions to maintain momentum and safeguard release timelines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including R&D, UX, architects, and go-to-market teams to ensure a shared understanding of the product vision.
• Influence long-term product strategy by identifying new opportunities, innovative workflows, and areas for differentiation.

 

Have you got what it takes? 

• Experience in the compliance domain such as financial crime compliance or communication compliance
• Ability to work closely with Product Management to co-own the roadmap, refine scope, and provide clarity and direction to development teams.
• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem and its core services.
• Navigate complex technical discussions and collaborate effectively with engineering stakeholders.
• Proficiency in writing detailed requirements, including PRDs, capability definitions, epics, and user stories covering data requirements, business logic, UI, data storage, archival workflows, and more.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with architects, R&D leaders, UX teams, and technical writers to deliver a cohesive product experience.
• Support product release cycles by assisting with customer-side implementation and adoption activities.
• Excellent communication skills, with strengths in documentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Hands-on experience working on AI-driven features using LLMs or ML models or at minimum, meaningful contribution to such initiatives.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and proficiency with backlog management tools such as Aha!, Jira, and Confluence.
