Key responsibilities:

  • Pallet Flow Management – Steers inbound and outbound pallet movements across Europe, ensuring smooth operations in line with defined processes and operational requirements.
  • Booking & Documentation – Oversees accurate booking and documentation of pallet movements for carriers, service partners and IFCO customers including retailers and growers.
  • Account Monitoring & Reporting – Monitors pallet accounts for carriers and IFCO customers and prepares transparent, partner-focused reporting.
  • Balance Reconciliation – Tracks, maintains and reconciles pallet balances across carriers, customers and service partners to ensure data accuracy and accountability.
  • Invoicing Coordination – Manages the invoicing process for non-exchanged pallets in close alignment with carriers, customers and service partners.
  • Loss Prevention & Process Improvement – Develops, implements and enforces pallet handling procedures to minimize losses and strengthen operational reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Works closely with finance and controlling teams to align pallet-related costs, charges and financial transparency.

We expect:

  • Educational Background – Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related scientific field, supported by a solid academic foundation.
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Expertise – Strong understanding of endtoend supply chain concepts and logistics processes within complex operational environments.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Well-developed analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, interpret data and derive practical solutions.
  • Systems & Tools Proficiency – In-depth experience working with SAP and very strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • International & Matrix Experience – Comfortable operating in fast-paced, matrix-driven organizations while adhering to corporate frameworks and policies.
  • Communication & Collaboration – Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Customer & Business Focus – Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly understand requirements, drivers and underlying business needs.
  • Language Skills – Fluent in English; additional European languages such as German, Spanish or Italian are considered an advantage.
