What You’ll Be Doing
The Specialist, Operations Management will be part of CAM – I Operations, supporting Wealth Management Operations. As a Specialist, Operations Management you will be responsible for the delivery of efficient operational support, accurately processing service inquiries and requests while upholding compliance with internal controls and procedures. The role uses judgement regarding priorities and approaches to obtain complete and accurate information of client issues, provide clients with detailed explanations of recommendations and verify their understanding of the issues. The Specialist, Operations Management demonstrates strong technical and system knowledge to review and analyze data to ensure quality assurance of transactions and maintain customer satisfaction. In addition, the role assists in the management of day-to-day operation and overall efficiency of the unit, while seeking opportunities to streamline existing processes and procedures.

How you’ll succeed
Analytical - Support/process all tasks related to the cash management desk (ie: upload balances and cashflows, create Money Market instrument cusips, ensure trades flow through various platforms). Approve daily/monthly cash and asset reconciliations. Assist with the set up of new accounts and maintenance or creation of security cusips for specific asset classes. Track coupon payments for REPOS & Claim brokers. Maintain and update Security settlement instructions in Omgeo Alert. Recommend and participate in the development of improvements to existing procedures and processes to increase efficiencies.
Audit Capability - Ensure compliance with audit trails and compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to always ensure the protection and confidentiality of personal information
Collaboration – Work closely with your team to provide an excellent client experience. Ensure that your team’s collective work meets quality standards, timelines, and service level agreements.
Relationship Building - Listening, asking questions and understanding activities. Deepen your relationship with business partners relying on your knowledge of their team to provide expert advice. Use your professional network to present challenges to management in a constructive and effective way
