About the Role:

Work closely with the Medical Communications team to support tasks associated with medical information and medical resource contents . Responsible for several Medical Information and non medical aspects, such as liaising with the medical information call center, responding to non-therapeutic area specific inquiries, serving as medical information systems administrator, and coordinating logistics associated with resource maintenance, distribution, and meeting support.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

  • Serve as primary point of contact for the Medical Information call center, managing contracting, reporting, and notifying vendor of changes or updates to content and/or relevant Neurocrine policies

  • Independently triage and assess incoming Medical Information inquiries, appropriately direct them to the medical partner based on complexity, content, and regulatory considerations

  • Analyze and interpret inquiries, applying existing guidance and prior approaches to resolve non-medical questions while escalating medical or complex issues to the appropriate Medical Communications or therapeutic area lead

  • Acts as administrator for the Information Request Management System (IRMS) and analytic databases, performing system and user maintenance, ad hoc reports creation, troubleshooting, vendor contact, etc.

  • Develop and deliver analytics and reports for internal stakeholders, going beyond standard reporting to identify trends, insights, and opportunities based on unique business questions

  • Responsible for logistics of content deliverables and resources to ensure material is up to date and available for use across various platforms, including Medical Information call center

  • Support broader Medical Information and Medical Resource Content Development initiatives as needed, contributing to process improvements and operational effectiveness

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree AND 2+ experience in Pharma/Biotech/Devices industry, Medical Affairs preferred OR

  • Master's degree AND some relevant experience

  • Understands Neurocrine's business objectives and developing understanding of Neurocrine's services and customers

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Strong computer skills

  • Good verbal and written communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Good project management skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to build successful relationships with internal experts/teams and other stakeholders

  • Flexible and able to work independently to manage work priorities and follow tasks through to completion

  • Strong ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks

  • Excellent presentation and highly proficient computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable working within digital platforms and within system administration

  • Good knowledge of project based dashboards to communication to stakeholders

  • Familiar with automation tools to present information and data to appropriate audiences

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $81,000.00-$111,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
