Job Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Travel: 1–12 trips per year
The Materials Manager oversees all materials, ingredients, and supplies for the complex. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, timely procurement, efficient production scheduling, and strong supplier relationships to support daily operations.
Manage inventory of all materials, ingredients, and raw meat.
Schedule production based on WIP needs and operational requirements.
Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and freight coordination.
Maintain SAP data for BOM, MMG, receipts, and material usage.
Manage procurement and the Purchase‑to‑Pay process.
Monitor costs, maintain budgets, and support cost‑saving initiatives.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and corporate teams.
Ensure accurate shipping instructions and compliance with code‑date standards.
3–5 years of relevant experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Logistics preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (MMG, BOM, PPS).
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Exposure to cold, heat, noise, odors, and potential hazards.
Standing/walking 25%; sitting 75%.
Work independently and with others.
Overtime may be required.
