About the Role – IT Business Operations

We are seeking motivated professionals to join IT Business Operations as a Specialist.  In this role, you will support IT financial management and operations, help ensure governance and compliance, and partner with IT, Finance, Capital Planning and other stakeholders to manage costs, optimize resources and support the IT portfolio in support of business priorities and value delivery across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Financial Operations

  • Support IT expense and capital processes, including tracking, settling and managing statuses across two SAP environments.

  • Prepare financial data and inputs for accruals, funding, project structure setup and reporting.

  • Manage accruals, depreciation, amortization, capitalization and intercompany chargebacks.

  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls and procedures.

IM Planner / SAP Project Lifecycle

  • Act as an IM Planner in SAP: validate governance documentation, approvers and budget distribution.

  • Oversee SAP project lifecycle: creation, approvals, maintenance and closure.

  • Ensure timely project closure and compliance with strategic and governance requirements.

Reporting & Improvement

  • Provide regular and ad-hoc financial reports and insights.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase accuracy.

  • Internalize AI learning and opportunities to implement for simplification and automation.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Interact with senior business executives and IT peers regionally and globally.

  • Build strong partnerships with IT leaders, IT Business Owners, Finance and Accounting.

  • Support communication and change management related to process and tool changes.

Education:

  • HS Diploma Required; advanced degree preferred.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, IT business operations or similar.

  • Strong proficiency with SAP Financial systems, including SAP Project and Internal Orders modules.

  • Finance/controlling acumen (accruals, depreciation, amortization, capitalization; basic P&L and balance sheet analysis).

  • SAP IM Planner experience

  • Experience with forecasting and variance analysis.

  • Base knowledge of IT project/portfolio management and PO processes.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and process precision.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

  • Proactive, self-starting approach and ability to work independently in a dynamic, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity of Service Now is a plus.

  • Experience in IT cost management, IT Business Operations, PMO or similar roles.

  • Knowledge of financial forecasting processes, reporting and project/portfolio accounting.

  • Experience with process improvement

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and across multiple time zones.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is

$87,300.00 - $137,400.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
