Your Team & Role


As an IAM Onboarding Associate within IAM Enablement, you will support the onboarding of business applications into workforce identity controls. You will join the onboarding team led by the Workforce Onboarding Lead, partnering with senior IAM staff to execute onboarding tasks and maintain consistent documentation, tracking, and control readiness.

This role contributes to onboarding activities for:

  • IGA: access requests, access reviews, entitlement registration
  • PAM: privileged access onboarding support (as applicable), including evidence and validation activities
     

You will explain difficult concepts and influence others. You will work on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of process, risks, and controls. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in information security controls.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Execute onboarding tasks for applications entering IGA and/or PAM controls, following established playbooks and templates.
  • Assist with gathering and organizing key onboarding inputs:
    • entitlement lists / roles / groups
    • attribute/schema details and mapping inputs
    • access request and review requirements
    • privileged use-case information (when relevant)
  • Update tracking and reporting artifacts (e.g., Excel, intake trackers, status dashboards, evidence folders).
  • Support tool-related onboarding steps across SailPoint, Ping, Microsoft Fabric, CyberArk, and HashiCorp under guidance from senior team members.
  • Participate in validation activities such as test planning support, evidence capture, and readiness checklists.
  • Communicate status, blockers, and questions clearly and early; collaborate with application teams and internal stakeholders to keep onboarding moving.

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields Ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
  • NIST and ISO 27000 Standards
  • Basic Understanding of identity attributes and schemas
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of business concepts and information security tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt with evolving business decisions and technical improvements or limitations

Advanced experience and/or expertise with several of the following:

• Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)

• Experience onboarding applications to IGA tools

• Compliance Monitoring and Remediation


Preferred qualifications:


• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $89,000.00 to $147,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
