Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Support
    • Assist the Deputy GM in monitoring daily production schedules and output.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, downtime, and yield.
    • Help coordinate shift activities to ensure production targets are met.
  • Process Coordination
    • Support implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Identify and escalate process inefficiencies or production issues.
    • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
    • Maintain accurate production logs, work orders, and inventory records.
    • Compile data for management reviews and operational meetings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Liaise with quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering teams.
    • Coordinate with supervisors and line leads to address production challenges.
    • Support communication between shop floor personnel and leadership.
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
    • Assist with quality checks and audits as needed.
    • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Administrative Support
    • Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-ups for the Deputy GM.
    • Prepare presentations, summaries, and action item trackers.
    • Handle special projects and ad hoc assignments.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and KPIs
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Working Conditions

  • Primarily based on the manufacturing floor with some office work
  • May require standing, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Flexibility to support different shifts as needed
