Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regulatory data in SAP and follow-up to generate material Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Label according to standard working manual & instruction. Update SDS and labels when relevant information changes
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders and make appropriate influence gradually. For example, work closely with customer service department to ensure the latest SDS are distributed to customers via distribution tool
  • In line with fundamental customer-centric, response to customer inquiries and requests on regulatory topics (such as issuing regulatory compliance declaration documents, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Conduct material compliance evaluation based on regulatory check-list to implement MCM gate check and approval in business workflows
  • Collect and consolidate new regulatory information and do business impact analysis
  • Prepare and submit chemical registrations, registration renewals and periodic reports to the competent authorities before the deadlines stipulated by regulations, such as China hazardous chemical registration, etc.
  • Maintain and update relevant documents in regulatory shared folders
  • Coordinate with external regulatory partners in registration projects
  • Participate in regulatory projects to assist data analysis and documents/report drafting

Qualifications:

  • BS (or above) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental, Material Science or related science degree
  • Working experience on chemical regulatory compliance, HSE program, ERP system with chemical industry (incl. Internship program; or post-graduate research program) would be a plus
  • Good oral, written communication and interpersonal skills in English
  • Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commitment to work responsibility and quality, self-motivation and being comfortable working in a team environment
