Job Summary

The Specialist, Food & Beverage plays a key role in supporting corporate leadership by driving strategic initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and aligning department objectives with overall business goals. This position is responsible for overseeing MXP (Menu Management and Pricing), Food & Beverage analytics, and performance reporting to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies that elevate guest experience and operational profitability.

Essential Duties

Strategic Operations & Administrative Leadership

  • Lead and oversee administrative functions that support culinary, restaurant, and bar leadership teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage scheduling, event coordination, and calendar planning for key leaders, prioritizing initiatives that drive strategic outcomes.
  • Direct the preparation of corporate reports, presentations, and documentation to support executive decision-making.
  • Monitor compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Oversee workflows related to performance management, staffing documentation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Menu Management (MXP)

  • Provide strategic oversight of menu management systems (MXP) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment across outlets.
  • Lead menu and pricing strategies by analyzing market trends, competitive benchmarks, and cost structures to maximize profitability.
  • Partner with culinary leadership to standardize recipes, innovate menu offerings, and ensure consistent execution across operations.
  • Manage Master item additions and updates within MXP and oversee accuracy of standardized recipes in Mastercook.

Food & Beverage Analytics

  • Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of Food & Beverage performance data to guide operational strategies and decision-making.
  • Deliver actionable insights that enhance menu development, pricing optimization, and overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with corporate and shipboard leaders to implement improvements based on key performance indicators and business intelligence.

Vendor & Partnership Management

  • Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain reliability.
  • Oversee coordination of orders, deliveries, and inventory processes in partnership with culinary and procurement teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between corporate Food & Beverage leadership, shipboard operations, and cross-functional departments.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and information flow across multiple teams to ensure consistency in execution.
  • Represent Food & Beverage operations in corporate initiatives, providing insights that influence long-term strategy and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative position or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Familiarity with MXP systems and food and beverage analytics tools
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Effective communication with fluency in English
