Specialist, Digital Marketing
About the Role
We're seeking a Marketing Analytics Specialist to join our digital marketing team to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive marketing performance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills across multiple analytics platforms and tools, with expertise in social media data analysis, dashboard creation, and data troubleshooting to create compelling visualizations that tell the story behind the data.
Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using MS Office, Power BI/Tableau, and Looker Studio to track marketing KPIs and campaign performance
• Conduct in-depth social media data analysis across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok to measure engagement, reach, and conversion metrics
• Prepare digital marketing reports using data from social media management tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and native platform analytics, as well as Google Ads, Eloqua, and other marketing platforms
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from various marketing platforms and databases
• Create Python scripts to automate data collection, cleansing, and reporting processes to improve team efficiency
• Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization in digital marketing campaigns
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and quality issues across multiple marketing data sources, implementing solutions to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with the digital & marketing team to define measurement frameworks, establish meaningful metrics, and perform ETL processes for comprehensive reporting
• Build predictive models to forecast campaign performance and recommend budget allocations
• Design and implement A/B tests to drive continuous improvement in marketing efforts
• Create automated dashboards that provide real-time insights into social media performance, campaign effectiveness, and ROI metrics
• Communicate complex data findings in clear, concise formats for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay current with evolving digital marketing analytics tools, techniques, and best practices
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience in data analytics (marketing data is preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI/Tableau, and Looker Studio
• Strong expertise in social media analytics platforms and native reporting tools (Facebook Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc.)
• Proven experience in social media data analysis, including engagement metrics, audience insights, and conversion tracking
• Advanced dashboard creation skills with ability to design user-friendly, interactive visualizations
• Strong data troubleshooting capabilities to identify and resolve data quality issues across multiple marketing platforms
• Strong SQL skills for database querying and data manipulation
• Python programming knowledge for automation, data processing and analytics
• Experience with digital marketing analytics platforms is preferred
• Ability to extract meaningful insights from marketing campaign data across all digital channels
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Preferred but not necessary - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
• Plus: Experience with API integrations and automated reporting solutions
• Plus: Experience with social media management platforms and their reporting capabilities
