The Specialist, Design will support the Marketing Communications team with the development and execution of on brand marketing materials across a broad range of digital and print media. The Specialist will work must demonstrate strong visual acuity and attention to detail  and will work closely with the Creative Team. The Specialist will help strengthen and champion the Goodwin brand across all internal and external communication channels.

What You Will Do:

  • Create compelling, brand‑forward design solutions for a variety of media formats, including print collateral, email campaigns, social media graphics, presentations, video assets, and other marketing touchpoints.
  • Apply and maintain visual identity standards consistently across all deliverables.
  • Participate actively in brainstorming and concept development sessions to support new campaigns, initiatives, and firmwide priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to execute integrated, multichannel campaigns and strategic projects.
  • Iterate effectively on design concepts based on internal, stakeholder, and cross‑functional feedback.
  • Proactively propose alternative design approaches to better meet stakeholder objectives and enhance end‑user engagement.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Editorial, Marketing Strategy, Communications, and Marketing Technology & Operations teams.
  • Develop an understanding of the UK and European market landscapes to ensure regionally aligned design execution.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in graphic design, communication design, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within an agency or in‑house creative team strongly preferred; familiarity with the professional services sector is a plus.
  • Submission of a professional portfolio is required.
  • Strong brand and communication design capabilities; B2B or professional services experience preferred.
  • Ability to think holistically and execute work across the full design lifecycle—from concept development to final production.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to shifting demands.
  • Foundational project‑management abilities, including independent project intake, routing, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Ability to make informed design decisions that preserve and elevate the firm's brand identity.
  • Solutions‑oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and openness to challenging conventional approaches.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in core design principles including typography, color systems, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to both creative and non‑creative audiences.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with After Effects and Ceros is a plus.
  • Experience using Workfront or similar project management platforms preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in a PC‑based environment.
  • Support workflow coordination, project routing, and collaboration within the U.S.-based Creative Team (Brand/Design, Creative Operations, Multimedia).

The target salary range for this position varies by location and is commensurate with relevant experience: Boston $75,100 - $112,600 | Los Angeles $80,700 - $121,100 | New York $80,700 - $121,100 | Orange County $80,700 - $121,100 | Philadelphia $73,600 - $110,400 | San Francisco $86,300 - $129,500 | Santa Monica $80,700 - $121,100 | Silicon Valley $86,300 - $129,500
