KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions (MTS) group is looking for a Cost Control Specialist inChennai to support the activities related to its Readiness & Sustainment Solutions Business.

Summary Section  

The Cost Control Specialist would be responsible for Forecasting, Controlling and would report project costs needed within an organization.

Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports. Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis.

Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within project controls.

Displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Education requirement: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting as a subject; Post Graduation / Professional Qualifications would be an added advantage
• Years of required experience: Minimum of 5 years
• Must be able to read and understand contracts
• Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
