What you’ll be doing:

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Director to support our Rates and Credit product and strategy. Responsibilities will include working closely with the Heads of Rates and Credit Trading, Rates and Credit Traders, and support partners.

This role will report to the Head of Business Management within Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) based in London 33 Old Broad Street.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary liaison between key product partners and the Heads of Rates and Credit, ensuring effective delivery of the Global Markets product and the design and execution of Board metrics.
  • Serve as an end‑to‑end Rates and Credit subject matter expert, acting as a key connection point between Product, Coverage, and Sales to drive optimal business and client outcomes.
  • Strengthen Rates and Credit operational resilience and controls by partnering with Technology and Transformation teams to design and implement practical, regulatory‑compliant control frameworks.
  • Own and improve Rates and Credit product governance and documentation, ensuring all risk, conduct, and resilience obligations are fully met.
  • Deliver clear, high‑quality updates to Head of Rates and Credit to support, working collaboratively with Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Coverage, Credit, and Data teams.
  • Champion a technology-curious attitude, serving as a role model for innovation by actively exploring new tools. Use responsible automation to simplify processes and enhance efficiency within the Pricing and Credit team.

What we’re looking for?

  • A minimum of 10+ years proven experience supporting in FICC businesses, with strong Rates and Credit product knowledge and the ability to interpret trends and analysis to inform the product strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating and bringing to completion complex, multi-jurisdictional programmes.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data on product performance, benchmarks, and financial metrics. Provide strategic insights for leadership and collaborators including Audit, CCOR, Compliance, Markets Platform, and Finance.
  • Knowledge of Rates and Credit product regulation including (MiFId II, Dodd Frank etc).
  • Ability to design effective controls and prioritise under pressure to manage incidents confidently.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to foster a high performance culture with clear standards for risk, conduct, and delivery.
