This is a non-union positionWe are looking for a Specialist Business Development & Marketing who will be responsible for maintaining the customer base and increasing profitability for the Enbridge GTM assets in the Southeast. This will be done by managing all activities relating to existing business relationship management and new business development through the review, evaluation, contract negotiation and approval processes.

What You Will Do:
Development of growth projects, including commercial commitments, internal approvals, external authority, and execution.
Support the Business Development manager with front line customer service with goal of providing the highest level of customer service.
Assist customers as they utilize contracted services from each pipeline as well as monitoring and pro-actively managing customer contract imbalances.
Troubleshoots customer operational and contractual concerns and ensures that customers receives timely resolution of all discrepancies involving pipeline services.
Maintain working knowledge of commercial operations, customer and competitive landscape for Enbridge’s Southeast markets.
Performs as hoc analysis related to existing and growth markets supervision of the Manager.
Ensures appropriate governance is followed for all contracts and joint venture agreements.
Relationship and consensus building across several internal departments, including but not limited to – Regulatory, Legal, Engineering, System Planning, Project Development, Economic Evaluation, Marketing, Contracts, Commercial Operations and Field Operations.
Coordinates with GTM Market Innovation and GTM commercial teams to support initiatives and strategy.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Engineering
Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in the natural gas or energy industry in marketing, accounting, financial, commercial operations or related areas.
Strong knowledge of gas industry commercial operations.
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.
Preferred:
Engineering or business Master’s degree considered an asset.
Experience in project development, commercial operations, sales, marketing or similar industrial environment would be asset.
Working Conditions:
25% travel in the region, Houston and other locations as required.
Office environment.

Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
