Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Collects data that will be used for census management, space planning, and billing.
Maintains adequate supplies of forms for the tracking and generation of bar code labels for protocol identification and census management.
Organizes and performs technical duties, such as preparation, maintenance, and distribution of materials, devices, and equipment.
Completes activation of new orders, deactivation of terminated studies and troubleshoots all issues with cage card generation and split/wean tracking.
Enters information into the computer or onto data forms, generates tables, reports, statistics or computations.
Maintains department records, reports, inventory and files as required.
Assists the investigator in identifying trends and educational needs.
Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
Assists husbandry staff when needed, as assigned by supervisor.
May perform data collection and management of data forms in ABSL 2 and 3 spaces.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

Will regularly travel to different buildings on campus and cross-train to cover absences of other DA staff.
Physical Effort
Typically sitting at a desk or table.
Must be able to lift 30lbs and pass a pre-employment physical exam.
