Responsibilities:


•    Manage and coordinate logistics for special material inventory.
•    Conduct 100% inventory audits and compare results with shipboard systems of record.
•    Assist in the management of the RADIAC issue and calibration program.
•    Query and update the JACKS database for shelf-life extensions.
•    Prepare requests for disposal to DARD and coordinate approved disposal shipments.
•    Maintain vessels’ configuration records for new/upgraded material.
•    Assist in planning production goals for kit bags, pack-up kits, and gas masks.
•    Conduct in-brief and out-brief sessions with ship’s command during shipboard assist visits.
•    Coordinate and participate in periodic AEL reviews with stakeholders.
•    Process AEL and AMAL change requests in the NMLC NAILS database.
•    Ensure QA inventory records are complete and accurate.
•    Prepare shipping requests for replacement RADIACs and those going to the calibration lab.
•    Maintain a master RADIAC report and perform monthly reconciliation with OM&S records.
•    Order or print expiration labels for material being extended.
•    Provide guidance and appropriate documentation to the warehouse or vessel for disposition requests.
•    Review inventory records to identify obsolete, expired, or degraded centrally managed special material.
•    Coordinate disposition as per material type and published directives.
•    Provide DEMIL guidance when appropriate.
•    Prepare reports of disposal recommendations.
•    Assist in fielding new and upgraded centrally managed special material and equipment to the fleet.
•    Plan phase replacement schedules with LTD Manager.
•    Assist in planning production goals for kit bags, pack-up kits, and gas masks per demand.
•    Prepare shipment requests accordingly.
 

Qualifications:

Required:

•   An Active DOD Secret Clearance

•  A Bachelor's Degree 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Proven experience in logistics, inventory management, and procurement.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Familiarity with RADIAC management, shelf-life extension programs, and AEL reviews.
•    Proficiency in using inventory management software and databases.
•    Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
•    Knowledge of naval operations and procedures

Desired:
•    Experience with the Joint Acquisition CBRN Knowledge System (JACKS).
•    Previous work in a naval or military damage control environment.
•    Damage Control background with the rank of E7 or above in the US Navy.
•    Certification in logistics or supply chain management.
•    Advanced knowledge of DEMIL procedures and hazardous material disposal.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$61,600-$129,300
