About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.The Spa Manager is responsible for supporting the overall management and daily operations of the hotel’s Spa and wellness facilities, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and the highest standards of service in line with Four Seasons brand standards.
This role supervises the spa team, oversees treatments and retail operations, and supports financial performance while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. The Spa Manager plays a key role in positioning the Spa as a premier wellness destination in Mallorca.
Oversee the daily operations of the Spa and wellness areas.
Ensure all treatments and guest interactions meet Forbes 5-star service standards.
Lead, train, and motivate the Spa team, ensuring continuous development and engagement.
Assist in recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance evaluations of spa team members.
Coordinate scheduling of therapists, treatments, and wellness services to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction.
Monitor retail performance and ensure effective merchandising and stock control.
Manage inventory, requisitions, storage, and cost-effective usage of departmental materials and products.
Work closely with Engineering to maintain water quality and proper operation of wet areas and facilities.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations in accordance with Spanish legislation.
Support budget planning, revenue tracking, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
Interact with guests, providing expert recommendations and ensuring personalized service.
Ensure all Spa equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
Legal authorization to work in Spain.
Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in a luxury Spa environment.
Strong knowledge of spa operations, wellness programs, holistic modalities, and 5-star service standards.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, retail management, and KPI analysis.
Excellent communication skills in English (high level required). Spanish highly valued.
Previous hands-on experience as a therapist (massage therapist, aesthetician, etc.) is an advantage.
Passion for the health and wellness industry.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
