The Country Depot Manager is accountable for end-to-end P&L, commercial strategy, and operational execution for depots within a country or cluster. The role defines the go-to-market strategy, drives profitable growth, and ensures safe, efficient, and customer-centric operations. Acting as both an operational and commercial leader, the role positions depots as a strategic enabler of integrated logistics solutions while embedding Maersk values, strong safety culture, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsabilities:

  • Own end‑to‑end depot operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, safety, and service quality.
  • Drive operational performance through asset utilization, productivity, cost optimization, and readiness.
  • Own full P&L performance, driving revenue growth, cost control, margin improvement, and financial governance.
  • Define and execute the depot commercial and go‑to‑market strategy in partnership with commercial teams.
  • Support pricing, solution design, and complex commercial negotiations to enable integrated logistics solutions.
  • Ensure delivery of customer commitments, managing service performance and critical escalations.
  • Manage and govern outsourced service providers, ensuring performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Senior leadership experience in logistics, depot, or asset‑intensive operations.
  • Proven accountability for full P&L, including budgeting, cost control, and margin optimization.
  • Strong operational expertise in multi‑site environments, driving performance and scalability.
  • Solid commercial acumen to support pricing strategies, customer negotiations, and growth initiatives.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholders, including customers and third‑party service providers.
  • Track record of leading large teams and driving performance, engagement, and development.
  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
  • Availability to travel.
