The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to consider the customer in everything we do across the Smith&Smith brand, whether we are enhancing the Supply Chain performance, minimising costs and building strong relationships with our suppliers.
Joining our team of Sourcing Specialists, you’ll be responsible for supporting our sourcing process working with our suppliers and teams, problem solving, interpreting stock demands and working collaboratively with the wider business. This role has the excitement of a fast-paced organisation along with the ability to expand on transferable skills, developing your capabilities to take advantage of career opportunities both locally and across the global Belron business.
Location: NZ Support Office (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060)
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
What we’re looking for
- You’ll have at least a year of experience in either a procurement/ sourcing or a supply chain role and want to progress in the sourcing space.
- Excellent organisation skills with an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively to get tasks done and deliver great service.
- You enjoy demonstrating your problem-solving skills – you can work with a process but are also comfortable to provide solutions to the “outside the box” issues
- Confidence to ask questions, think outside the box and suggest improvements.
- Technical skills where you can interpret and analyse information to make decisions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills,
- Team player with a warm, approachable and supportive personality who enjoys working with a close collaborative fun team
- Attention to detail and the ability to access and utilise information to make decisions
