OUR ROLE

We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives across Manufacturing Services, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), and CapEx categories.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost optimization, supplier performance, operational continuity, and long-term value creation. You will act as a key partner to manufacturing, engineering, finance, and project teams to ensure sourcing decisions align with production needs and investment priorities.

This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and reports to our Global Sourcing Director Travel will be expected at a level of 10-20 days a year.

Responsibilities...

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for:
    • Manufacturing services (technical services, maintenance contractors, utilities, facilities, industrial services)
    • MRO (spare parts, consumables, tools, plant supplies)
    • CapEx (machinery, production equipment, automation, facility upgrades)
  • Lead sourcing events including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations
  • Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities through:
    • Value engineering
    • Supplier consolidation
    • Demand management
  • Build and maintain multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with business strategy
  • Deliver measurable cost savings and cost avoidance against annual targets
  • Track and report procurement KPIs:
    • Cost savings
    • Supplier performance
    • Contract compliance
    • Supply continuity
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for MRO and CapEx spend

WHO YOU ARE...

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
  • Proven experience in at least one of the following:
    • Manufacturing services sourcing
    • MRO procurement
    • CapEx / project procurement
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field

Language:

  • Fluent in English
