The selected candidate must reside within driving distance our our Corporate Office.

Preferred/Ideal Skills: The ideal candidate has strong experience working with complex datasets in Excel and demonstrates advanced analytical thinking—providing clear insights and recommendations, not just standard reporting. Knowledge of SAP and experience building dashboards (Power BI preferred) are helpful. A background in Finance or Supply Chain is helpful, with healthcare experience preferred. Success in this role also requires solid project management and process improvement skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional and leadership stakeholders

Job Summary:

Provides a variety of advanced analytical services for organizational leaders to guide management of clinical and fiscal resources. Contributes to key strategic decision making by supply chain, clinical and operational leadership. Assists leadership in creating specialized data extractions and reports that define standardization opportunities, identify waste/over utilization of clinical or fiscal resources and other inefficiencies that impact expenses and resources. Mentors staff and provides ongoing training and support to all departmental staff on data and analytical processes and techniques.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assumes analytical responsibility for medical supplies, services and pharmaceutical spend totaling more than $600M across 500 contracts. Analytical responsibilities inclusive of data cleansing, savings analyses, report development and dashboard development to monitor contractual compliance levels.
  • Analyzes large data sets and through in-depth analysis, provides key findings and recommendations that support the strategic direction of business operations to meet strategic and financial goals.
  • Develops tools, reports, and presentations to support management in communicating cost reduction ideas and initiatives, including consideration of alternative strategies for implementation.
  • Analyzes clinical data to highlight variance in costs across the health system. Identifies standardization opportunities, waste or over utilization of clinical resources and other inefficiencies that impact expenses.
  • Creates analytics to support financial month end close processes inclusive of budget variance explanations and supply expense trends.
  • Leads the planning and implementation of process improvement and supply chain optimization projects through project management and analytics support.
  • Collaborates and effectively communicates with a variety of stakeholders including supply chain associates and leaders, executive leadership, and clinical leaders.
  • Develops and maintains training documentation and analytics best practices that support the development of the analytics skillset for the team.
  • Supports System Wide Reporting Dashboard work within PowerBI and SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Mentors and supports the professional development of the Sourcing Analysts through training, project assistance and mentorship.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education


EXPERIENCE

  • Two years' applicable experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
