About the Position

We are looking for a Recruiting Sourcer to help us find high-caliber candidates for machine learning roles across our offices worldwide. You'll be supporting our efforts to build world-class ML teams that work on challenging problems at the intersection of finance, technology, and quantitative research.

We are looking for someone with a true passion for sourcing, who loves thinking deeply about niche candidate pools in the ML space—and then investigating all corners of the internet to find the best possible people for the job.

On any given day, you will be:

  • Strategizing different ways to produce talent pipelines for ML roles, having the intuition and creativity to look where no one else is looking—from academic research labs and top-tier ML conferences, to niche research communities and specialized forums
  • Developing tailored sourcing strategies and putting them into action, including candidate outreach and engagement 
  • Working with recruiters and researchers to deeply understand requirements for ML positions, including specific technical expertise, research backgrounds, publication records, and contributions to the broader ML community
  • Providing helpful and relevant market intelligence and competitor analysis on the ML talent landscape, including emerging research areas and shifting talent pools

About You

  • Have 5+ years of in-house sourcing experience, with a proven track record of identifying and engaging ML talent 
  • Have an understanding of the ML landscape, including key research areas, top academic programs, leading research labs (both academic and industry), and important conferences and communities
  • Deeply experienced with managing a pipeline of candidates, and collaborating with hiring managers and recruiters to kick off novel searches from scratch
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail; have a no-job-too-small attitude
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and can prioritize tasks to turn ideas into action
  • Humble about what you know and don't know; unafraid to ask questions and admit mistakes
  • Discreet and thoughtful about internal and external communication
  • Strong team player who can work effectively within and across various teams, and independently as appropriate
  • Able to travel to recruiting conferences and events as needed
