We are seeking a Source to Pay Operations Manager to join our KBS Europe Leadership team in Bratislava, Slovakia. Reporting to the Head of KBS Europe, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering efficiency, top-quality service, and a positive user experience across the Source to Pay process with focus on Operational Purchasing activities. You’ll drive business value for KONE Europe by transforming operations, collaborating with senior international stakeholders, and shaping LEAN processes in a dynamic matrix organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of operational excellence in purchasing execution.
  • Drive the development and execution of a centralized and scalable platform for purchasing, ensuring seamless integration with Business, Purchasing, Finance, and Technology functions.
  • Standardize ways of working across all units to increase automation and enable data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with director-level stakeholders to align KBS goals with business strategy and support cost efficiency and growth.
  • Manage commercial topics between KBS and business units, in coordination with the Head of KBS Europe.
  • Deliver measurable business outcomes that enhance customer experience and support long-term growth.

What would you need to be successful in this role? 

  • 5+ years of leadership/management experience in operational purchasing, ideally within an international matrix or GBS environment.
  • Proven ability to drive process development, change management, and senior stakeholder engagement in a centralized purchasing context.
  • Experience in implementing standardized, automated purchasing processes and leveraging data for decision making.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer and business-oriented mindset.
  • Ambition to make an impact and grow within KONE.
  • University degree (preferably in Business Administration).
