Job Description
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
Registry eligible through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT.
Registry must be obtained within a defined within 1 year after hire
Current BLS certification required
Perinatal Sonographer I
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Credentialed through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT in OB/GYN
Minimum 1 year experience scanning OB-GYN ultrasound
Current BLS certification required
Perinatal Sonographer II
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with OB/GYN specialty required
Minimum 2 years' experience scanning OB-GYN ultrasound
Current BLS certification required
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Work Experience 0-2 years. Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
