  • Support customers throughout the sales journey (discovery, validation, proposal, due diligence), demonstrating the value of the Okta Platform through live demos and presentations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the customer's organization, including CxO, security, developers, Product Managers, and IT administrators.
  • Partner with the sales team as the go-to technical counterpart, enabling customers to validate the value and potential of the Okta platform.
  • Focus on our Okta Workforce Identity solutions, confidently addressing product features and in-depth technical inquiries from customers.
  • Design and execute well-defined, outcome-driven Proof of Concepts (POCs).
  • Develop a growing understanding of the Okta product line and the underlying technologies and protocols.
  • Stay curious, and continuously grow your knowledge in Identity, Security, and more.
  • Occasionally, participate in local and regional events, representing Okta as both a speaker and an attendee.

What we’re looking for:

  • A passion for helping customers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences - even on the fly on a whiteboard.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
  • Interest in Identity and Access Management, cloud technologies, and security concepts.
  • Some familiarity with Okta Single Sign-on, Multi-factor Authentication, Passwordless authentication, Universal Directory, Privileged Access, Device Access (or similar) is preferred
  • A growth mindset and eagerness to learn technical topics on the job.
  • Fluency in English.
  • 3-5 days per week office presence.

Bonus Point For:

  • Experience working with customers in any capacity (sales, consulting, support, project management, university projects involving stakeholders).
  • Presales experience — including internships or university programs.
  • Understanding of identity protocols (e.g., SAML, OIDC, OAuth, FIDO, SCIM, LDAP).
  • Understanding of identity-related cybersecurity topics (e.g., phishing, MFA bypass attacks, privilege escalation).
