As experts in the Mindbody platform, Solutions Engineering works alongside the global Mindbody sales team to present a compelling solution to a customer’s business challenges, especially those requiring more complex technical solutions. They achieve this by participating in customer demos, providing reactive support for sales reps, and ensuring product updates are successfully rolled out to the sales team. The team is held accountable to quarterly quotas in support of monthly recurring revenue.   

 

Job Summary:

The Solution Engineer works with and assists the Sales team throughout the client lifecycle. This includes driving new sales volume and renewals from the existing client portfolio. A Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in understanding customer and Sales team requirements, designing technical solutions, and assisting with training efforts to ensure successful deployment and adoption of our products and services.

 

Role requirements:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a customer support, onboarding, sales, or account management role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in utilizing web conferencing and communication tools such as Zoom, Slack, and SharePoint to facilitate seamless collaboration and communication across distributed teams.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Sales Engagement and Conversation Intelligence tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, making the best use of time and resources
  • Display professionalism and have an energetic positive attitude
  • Manages own workload
  • Self-starter with a bias for action
  • Collaborative, team player

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The application of technical expertise and consultative sales skills, including collaborating with customers to understand their requirements, offering tailored solutions, and managing the Salesforce pipeline to drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Use consultative sales skills to pitch and consult customer's technical requirements, explain proposed solution thoroughly, and ensure effective implementation
  • Complete technical presales with key prospects including demos and consultations
  • Support Sales Team by acting as a bridge between technical expertise and customer needs to close deals
  • Assist with and resolve customer escalations as appropriate
  • Effectively manage pipeline and opportunities in Salesforce.com to meet and/or exceed quota and account progress utilizing Salesforce.com
  • Understand and apply value-selling methodology, align with sales team members for effective collaborative selling, can effectively provide ROI for technical solutions presented in sales cycle
  • Work autonomously with the ability to plan, execute and assist with complex projects
  • May assist team with additional training as needed
  • All other duties assigned
