Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 22001 Loudoun County Pkwy Ste E1-2 Ashburn, VA

This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 

 

The Solutions Engineer Advisor Senior is responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit or corporate department, and utilizing various customer technology platforms.  

 

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements, leads requirements gathering meetings, and reviews designs with the business.
  • Lead efforts with the web and marketing team to increase the presence of web products.
  • Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams as necessary.
  • Develop and own a list of final enhancements.
  • Develop and define application scope and objectives, and supervise the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
  • Ensure unit testing is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and the system is implemented according to plan.
  • Be responsible for the delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning efforts.
  • Coordinate and manage on-call support and own the system monitoring process.
  • Own the technical development environment and work on the Enterprise team.
  • Lead multiple or large projects and facilitate large group JAD sessions for requirements, modeling in several disciplines.
  • Lead vendor evaluation and analysis.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in any occupation involving multi-platform and/or business and technical applications.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in any occupation involving multi-platform and/or business and technical applications must include:
    • Five (5) years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
    • Five (5) years of experience with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB and SQL.
    • Five (5) years of experience with microservices development.
    • Five (5) years of experience with one-platform, multi-database, multi-language, or multi-business applications.
