Solutions Architecture - Advisor

TITLE:                                          Solutions Architecture - Advisor

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Participate in understanding, structuring and inception meetings to design the solution from its early stages. Responsible for defining the architecture and functional solution and defining the impact of the solution in VisionPlus and Vision Next. Facilitate architecture discussions and design workshops with customers to identify and evaluate architectural and technical requirements. Understand client requirements and develop solution design documents for delivery to clients and internal development team. Prepare high level effort estimates for proposed solution designs. Review technical designs to ensure alignment to the architecture definition and adherence to compliance, security, and enterprise IT standards. Ensure all requirements are addressed in the technical solution. Provide functional and technical guidance to the Business Analysts and Developers. Help address technical limitations and concerns. Assist in resolving complex issues and incidents during implementation, testing and in production. Aid in the implementation and stabilization of the solution.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving experience building and implementing a global account processing platform for financial institutions. Prior experience must include: 4 years designing architecture for the entire card payment lifecycle, from origination to authorization and settlements; 4 years working in consumer and corporate card payment products, card issuing platforms, end-to-end payment authorization process and card schemes; 4 years of enterprise software solution design; 4 years working with payment authorization switches and fraud prevention; 4 years working with Agile software development methodologies and practices; and 3 years working in CICS, COBOL and z/OS.
