Solutions Architect, Senior

We are expanding into the United States and are seeking a Solutions Architect who will serve as the technical anchor of our GoToMarket (GTM) presence in the region. 
This role blends handson engineering depth with customer engagement, solution design, and earlymarket ecosystem development. 

You will help customers and partners understand how Affinidi’s trust infrastructure enables secure, interoperable, and consentdriven digital experiences. You will support early experimentation, guide technical validation, and lead solution implementation.

You will also contribute insights that influence product direction, ecosystem strategy, and our overall GTM motion for the United States. 

Focus Area: Trusted Networks, Agentic Identity, and ProtocolFirst Architecture 

As the landscape evolves rapidly, Affinidi is building toward a future where humans, organisations, and autonomous agents interact through trustanchored protocols, verifiable identities, and consentpreserving delegation patterns. 

This role is central in helping customers understand and adopt this new paradigm. 

What You Will Champion 

You will help organisations grasp the shift toward: 

• Agentic identity and delegation patterns, enabling AI agents to act safely on behalf of humans and organisations. 
• A protocolfirst world grounded in emerging open standards such as UCP, AP2, A2A, MCP, and Agentic Commerce. 
• Consentdriven architectures that make it possible to verify identity, intent, and permissions across ecosystems. 
• Trusted networks and communities, where participants interact with cryptographic assurance rather than centralized trust assumptions. 

Across the industry, there is a rising need for decentralized trust mechanisms that establish provable realpersonhood, verifiable relationships, and resilient trust graphs - an effort reflected in the Linux Foundation’s work to advance decentralized trust solutions and proofofpersonhood models. [docs.affinidi.com] 

You will help educate, enable, and guide customers through this shift as they integrate trust, identity, consent, and agenttoagent communication patterns into their systems. 

What You Will Do 

Technical Engagement and PreSales 

• You will deliver accessible and compelling technical presentations and demonstrations. 
• You will listen to customer needs and translate them into secure and practical trustenabled solution designs. 
• You will lead proofs of concept, early pilots, and technical evaluations. 
• You will help unblock technical challenges in partnerled opportunities and strategic deals. 
• You will translate business objectives into clear technical implementation plans. 

Solution Design and Delivery 

• You will design secure, consentdriven architectures aligned with open standards (Verifiable Credentials, Decentralized Identifiers, governance frameworks). 
• You will build prototypes and demonstrations that show the value of trustfirst digital interaction patterns. 
• You will produce clear documentation including architecture diagrams, data flows, and compliance considerations. 
• You will guide deployments endtoend, ensuring successful adoption and integration. 

Customer, Partner, and Ecosystem Collaboration 

• You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and leadership teams across customer organisations. 
• You will represent Affinidi at workshops, summits, developer events, and technical community engagements. 
• You will contribute to building trusted developer communities that align with global opensource efforts to create decentralized trust infrastructure. [docs.affinidi.com]

Internal Collaboration and Product Feedback 

• You will share insights with product and engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions. 
• You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams in a nosilos environment. 
• You will help refine our United States GTM motion. 

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have 

• At least 4 years of experience in technical customerfacing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Software Engineer. 
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. 
• Familiarity with modern web technologies, integration patterns and common database systems. 
• Experience with identity protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML), cryptography or emerging decentralized identity models is valuable. 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for both technical and nontechnical audiences. 
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping earlystage market strategy. 
• A passion for privacy, decentralized systems, trust frameworks, and responsible machine–human collaboration. 
• A desire to teach, uplift, and empower customers and communities.
