The Team:

The S&P Global Market Intelligence team focuses on understanding client business needs and identifying how our products can deliver maximum value. Our collaborative environment emphasizes problem-solving across technical implementation, configuration, and client training. We play a critical role in supporting S&P GMI's growth, client satisfaction, and long-term retention through effective issue resolution and strategic client partnerships.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for large and strategic accounts, understanding their business needs and identifying optimal S&P Global Market Intelligence product solutions

  • Lead technical implementation projects including hardware and software configuration, ensuring seamless product installation and onboarding experiences

  • Design and deliver comprehensive client training sessions and technical presentations to maximize product adoption and user proficiency

  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for a wide range of product-related issues, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention

  • Mentor and guide team members in their professional development, sharing technical expertise and best practices across the organization

  • Travel to client sites as required to provide hands-on support, conduct training sessions, and strengthen strategic relationships

What We're Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Product Specialist, or similar client-facing technical role with demonstrated success in managing strategic accounts

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Experience working with financial data platforms such as Compustat, Capital IQ, SNL, IHS, Trucost, ClariFI, or other industry-leading data solutions

  • Proficiency in SQL or database query languages, and familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar analytical tools

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to deliver effective client training sessions and technical presentations

  • Demonstrated leadership experience providing mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional development and fostering collaborative environments

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in European languages, with French strongly preferred

  • Advanced experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms

  • Previous experience in financial services industry with understanding of investment workflows and market data requirements

  • Track record of driving revenue growth through technical solution positioning and client relationship expansion
