A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Solution Engineer (Network Automation) reporting to Network Test Automation Manager
A bit about your role
As a Solution Engineer – Network Test Automation, you design, build, and operate software‑based test automation that helps verify and enhance complex network platforms and services. Working in partnership with test managers, delivery teams, and INES, you focus on developing reliable automation frameworks and regression capabilities that improve test coverage, efficiency, and confidence across large‑scale network environments.
You also contribute to the ongoing evolution of AI‑assisted test automation, supporting smarter test setup, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Through collaboration, thoughtful analysis, and a strong focus on quality outcomes, you help deliver scalable, dependable, and future‑ready network testing solutions. Most of this work aligns closely with NBN network technologies, including FTTP, HFC, and Aggregation.
A bit about you
You enjoy working with software development and test automation to create well‑designed, reliable testing solutions in complex technology environments. You’re comfortable using Python and working with automation frameworks, databases, and CI/CD pipelines, and you value collaborating across both software and network teams.
You bring curiosity, adaptability, and a considered approach to problem‑solving, with an interest in evolving automation practices, including AI‑assisted testing. Experience with network technologies is important, and familiarity with Nokia products is highly regarded.
You communicate clearly, contribute positively within a supportive team, and are open to sharing knowledge and learning from others. These strengths support effective collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders and help drive continuous improvement and high‑quality outcomes.
