Join PwC’s AI and DataServices team and help design and deliver secure, scalable data solutions across our Data Services portfolio. We’re growing quickly and opening multiple architecture opportunities across seniority levels—whether you’re a Solution Architect operating at the initiative/solution level, a System Architect shaping detailed designs and engineering standards, or a Platform Architect focused on platform-level patterns and enablement. As a Solutions Architect, you will define and drive end-to-end data solutions across PwC’s Data Services portfolio, translating business objectives into scalable, governed, production-ready architectures. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Management, System Architects, Engineering teams, and enterprise stakeholders—and you’ll validate decisions through hands-on proof-of-concepts (POCs), not just documents.

We’re looking for someone who works comfortably across databases/data ecosystems, AI-adjacent solutioning, system design, security/compliance, and Python—you don’t need to be a deep specialist in everything, but you should bring depth in at least one area and be able to design end-to-end solutions that teams can actually build and run.

What you’ll work on (our team's project examples):

• Defining end-to-end architectures for data initiatives across our Data Services portfolio

• Designing governed, secure data solutions with strong security and compliance built in

• Working with engineering teams to evolve high-level designs into implementable designs, then guiding delivery through real-world constraints

• Building and validating designs via POCs and targeted hands-on execution (Python and service integration where needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution & Data Architecture: Define solution-level architectures and drive their evolution from high-level architecture into implementable designs with delivery teams.

• Governance & Security: Define patterns for governance, security, and access control; ensure alignment with enterprise governance, compliance, and security standards.

• Cross-system Design: Identify, document, and manage cross-system dependencies, integration points, and architectural risks.

• Hands-on validation: Design and execute POCs to validate architectural decisions, reduce delivery risk, and explore new capabilities.

• Collaboration & leadership: Partner with Product Management and System Architects; guide Agile teams through architectural decisions and provide mentorship and technical leadership.

• Bring depth in at least one specialty area (e.g., databases/data modeling, security architecture, AI solutioning, or Python engineering) and use it to raise the quality of end-to-end designs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience defining solution-level architectures and guiding them through delivery.

• Strong foundation in software architecture, data engineering, and cloud-native architectural best practices.

• Ability to produce and consume architecture artifacts and design narratives; comfortable moving from HLD to LLD.

• Hands-on capability where needed (including Python; service integration and API-based designs).

• Strong security and compliance mindset; able to design governed, production-ready solutions.

• Strong communication and problem-solving; able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and operate effectively in ambiguity.

• We have multiple architect openings; depending on the role you may lean more solution-level (Solution Architect), system-level design/engineering standards (System Architect), or platform-level enablement (Platform Architect).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with diagramming/modeling approaches such as C4 and diagram-as-code tools

• Experience with POCs/experimentation to validate architecture choices and reduce delivery risk

• Prior experience as a System Architect or Senior Technical Lead

Additional Information:

Salary: starting from 4000 EUR/month, subject to seniority and proven experience

Contract type: Full-time

Start date: By agreement
