BMG serves its multinational client base with an integrated range of liquidity and information management services supported by a high level of professionalism and personal service. BMG is a full subsidiary of ING and is part of ING Wholesale Banking.
BMG is looking for an ambitious Solution Architect. As a solution architect in the IT domain, you ensure that the architectural direction of the ING IT capabilities (a.o. TPA, Techtonic, CTO direction) is aligned with the changing business needs and the agility of the BMG business. You will contribute to BMG reaching the next level of top-notch services and products for our customers in Cash Pool, Netting and In-house Bank by applying the ING architecture strategy for Tech in the Bank Mendes Gans domain.
The Team:
The focus of the solution architect is on translating the BMG business challenges together with Product owners, customer journey experts and engineers into IT solutions according to the ING architecture concepts. IT solution architects focus on the best solutions and apply the technology.
The other important role of the solution architect is to translate the design into road maps together with the product owners to realise the solutions.
The third important aspect is the close cooperation with the engineers on the realisation and enforcement of the ING/BMG architecture guidelines. The solution architecture also supports the dev/ops engineers to the next level of their professional career in the of skills and knowledge of the BMG technology.
