POSITION OVERVIEW

The Solutions Architect II designs, builds, and delivers scalable, data-driven solutions that enable business insight, automation, and operational efficiency. This role blends solution architecture, Microsoft Power Platform development, business intelligence, and data engineering to translate complex business requirements into secure, performant, and maintainable technical solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures that integrate data pipelines, analytics, automation, and application layers.
  • Develop and optimize Microsoft Power Platform application and AI solutions, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines and transformations to support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
  • Design semantic models and dashboards that deliver accurate, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Partner with business, IT, and data stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to architectural standards, security requirements, data governance policies, and performance best practices.
  • Lead technical design reviews and provide guidance on solution scalability, maintainability, and integration patterns.
  • Support data quality, monitoring, and troubleshooting across analytics and data platforms.
  • Document solution designs, data models, and technical standards to support long-term sustainability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience across solution architecture, analytics, and data engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Experience with LLM techniques including prompting and RAG pipelines. 
  • Experience with data platforms (Oracle, Snowflake).
  • Strong experience designing and building data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics solutions.
  • High proficiency with SQL and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical architectures and deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

WHAT WILL HELP

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses.
  • Experience in application development or application design.
  • Background in BI modeling (star schema, semantic layers, performance optimization).
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and access control best practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale reporting and analytics environments.
  • Microsoft or analytics-related certifications.
