Role and Responsibilities

The Software Verification Engineer with a focus on AI and automation that is responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of mobile applications across various Samsung devices. This position involves leveraging AI-driven testing tools and automation frameworks to streamline testing processes, improve efficiency, and deliver a seamless user experience.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall Testing for Samsung's launched and pre-launched products.

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Python, or other relevant frameworks.

  • Utilize AI-Powered testing tools to analyze application behavior, predict potential issues and optimize test coverage

  • Implement machine learning models to enhance test case generation and defect prediction.

  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate mobile applications on different devices and operating systems.

  • Document and report defects using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate with R&D to analyze and get the issues resolved

  • Strategic planning and execution, identify and mitigate potential risks.

  • Ensure successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Communicate high-priority risk defects/events to middle and upper management.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects in fast pace environment, communicating quickly with key project stakeholders.

  • Gather and analyze data from multiple sources, preparing spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and tables to help plan and prioritize multiple work assignments.

  • Communicate with internal/external teams and end-users in professional manner to build and maintain excellent rapport.

  • Process improvement Participate in evaluating and improving processes.

  • Software testing/troubleshooting experience involves mobile devices that supports 4G, 5G SA, NTN and SCS.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Telecommunication domain

  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools and frameworks. Prior experience is plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced understanding of software testing methodologies (Blackbox / Whitebox / Agile / Waterfall).

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide and instruct team members as needed.

  • Self-starter with an objective view able to lead a team towards business objectives.

  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

  • Excellent understanding quality assurance and control testing tools and techniques in a black-box testing environment.

  • Understand all relevant technologies in current market and evolving market place. 

  • Passion for learning and upkeep of evolving technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in BS (CS, IT, EE, Telecommunication etc.)

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $92,000 and $113,500.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
