About the role:
As a Software Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks and invests.  Providing managed services to a major banking client. You will be responsible for consulting on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.

What you will be doing:

  • Review Deployment documents, functional and non-functional specifications test strategies, business requirements, flowcharts, and process maps to evaluate the simplicity of the process and remove possible incident or minimize error during release deployment.

  • Stakeholder Co-ordination – scheduling and conducting meetings with the Release Manager, Software Developers and internal support teams prior to deployment phases or project launches to align on timelines and testing requirements

  • Working closely with all internal support parties support to ensure quality of delivery is meet during and after deployment release if issues arise.

  • Create Test plans and Preparing test case for upcoming release.

  • Test Asset Maintenance – maintain and enhance manual and automated test scripts, test data and tools required for executing test plans.

  • Defect management – replicating and reporting defects to the support team, verifying fixes and conducting re-testing for deployed releases

  • Client support – organising and co-ordinating test support for both internal and external clients post deployment

  • Test Execution performing regression and API testing in SIT and UAT environments to validate MPH, NPP and MPS applications and scheme certifications

  • Issue Tracking and Reporting – identifying and logging defects in Service Now during the first cycle of deployment testing in connected environments (MPH – ST1, NFP, NPP-SP, MPS-SYS and CoP-SYS) and preparing status reports for the Release Manager, developers and support teams for appropriate action.


What you will need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance ideally in Automated Testing

  • Ideally with experience working in Banking and Finance, technology consulting or IT vendors

  • Knowledge in software testing and quality management.

  • Experience in Client support and troubleshooting queries.

  • Payments platform knowledge is mandatory requirement
