Job Description:

CACI is looking for a self-motivated Systems Engineer with a background in software development to support the fast-paced counter-uncrewed aircraft systems (C-UxS) mission. What You’ll get to Do: You will be responsible for working with stakeholders to develop requirements and working with interdisciplinary groups to deliver and field cutting-edge tactical signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare (EW) systems to the DoD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the decomposition of top-level system customer needs to lower-level technical requirements and work closely with development teams to build, integrate, and test the system.
  • Lead, manage and groom backlogs at the portfolio level.
  • Maintain and groom roadmaps for various development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, participate in release/sprint planning, integration and testing.
  • Responsible for the technical accuracy on software projects for specific customer programs, tracking delivery schedules, CDRL delivery, and performing factory acceptance testing of new hardware and software.
  • Pushing the software baseline forward by continuing process improvement and using agile software development process.
  • Validate that the delivered product meets the defined acceptance criteria and fulfills customer needs, while improving speed of mission delivery aligned with DevSecOps automation.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of related experience is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Current TS clearance and able to obtain SCI
  • Must have experience with all stages of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC): Concept of Operations (CONOPS), requirements development, design, verification and validation testing, quality assurance, system integration, and operations support; including the development of requirements directly with stakeholders, as well as the development and execution of test plans/procedures.
  • Experience designing, analyzing, testing, and verifying information and operational support systems for DoD customer from inception to support and operations and the ability to present technical information to numerous stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to generate CDRLs for customer delivery.
  • Experience with managing and documenting system configurations.
  • Experience with agile development programs and supporting applications (e.g., JIRA, Mingle).

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with RF software and hardware systems.
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software and hardware.
  • Experience developing UML/SysML models with MBSE tools such as a Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Experience with test automation

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,200
