What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:
Serve as the Senior Principal Software Engineer for a team responsible for building and enhancing the Dell PowerStore Enterprise Storage product.
Be responsible for aspects of planning, execution, and delivery of software components following an Agile development methodology.
Develop in Java over Linux, using Vertx, RxJava, Microservices, and Docker containers.

Essential Requirements
Deep expertise in modern Java development, including hands-on experience with Java 11, 17, and 21.
12+ years of proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, high-performance server-side applications.
Hands‑on experience working with PostgreSQL or another major RDBMS is essential.
Highly self‑motivated and proactive with strong problem‑solving abilities.
Desirable Requirements
Experience using GenAI coding assistants, RxJava, Vertx or other Reactor pattern-based frameworks (AKKA, etc), clustering, Microservices and Dockerized solutions. Experience with Python & working with multi team environment.
