Do you want to ensure software quality for our global, innovative Jabra Enterprise products and make sure our solutions consistently meet and satisfy our customers’ expectations? And do you want to grow professionally and personally in a company leading the development of audio and video collaboration technologies? Then you might be our new Software Quality Manager.

As our Software Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Jabra Enterprise video, speak and headset product ranges throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality assurance processes, identify and resolve quality issues, and ensure continuous improvement initiatives.

At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of our global Product Quality function, where you report to Senior Manager, Development Quality, Niels Kløve.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Define and maintain software quality acceptance criteria for features, epics, and releases in collaboration with Product Management, Development, and System Test
  • Review and challenge test plans, test cases, and test automation coverage to ensure a risk-based, efficient test approach aligned with acceptance criteria
  • Monitor and analyze software quality metrics (e.g., defect trends, escape rates, coverage, reliability KPIs) to identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare clear quality status and risk reports to management, including explicit readiness assessments, showstoppers, and go/no-go recommendations for releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is built in from early design through release and post-release support
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for significant software defects and regressions
  • Contribute to and improve software quality frameworks (quality gates, risk assessment, test standards, and quality dashboards)
  • Support Beta testing with entry/exit criteria, quality expectations, and summary reporting of findings and risks
  • Continuously ensure lessons learned and field feedback are integrated into improved acceptance criteria, test methods, and development guidelines

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Early engagement of Software Quality Management in robust acceptance criteria and fewer late quality surprises
  • Software launches on time with the needed quality for defined use cases and key customer scenarios
  • Clear and constructive, data-driven statements in case of showstopper defects that may lead to launch delays
  • Transparent, trusted quality reporting to management and stakeholders, enabling confident go/no-go decisions
  • Continuous improvement of software quality practices, metrics, and test methods across teams

Professional Skills and Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experienced in software quality management, software testing, or software development for embedded, real-time, or communication systems (video, audio, UC, or related technology)
  • Extensive experience with software test strategy, test design, and test methods (functional and non-functional)
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous testing practices
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Ability to analyze complex data and defect patterns and make informed, risk-based decisions
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to present complex quality and risk topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable constructively challenging plans and decisions, backed by data and sound reasoning
  • Familiarity with collaboration and issue-tracking tools

Travel Requirements

1–2 weeks per year.
