About the Role:

As the Software Quality Assurance Manager  (IC Automation) , you will manage a team of QA professionals, ensuring the thorough testing and overall quality of our software products. This role involves designing test strategies, overseeing the execution of test plans, and fostering a culture of quality across the department. Your contributions will play a vital role in delivering robust and reliable software to our customers.

Hybrid: Eight days a month we come together in the closest office (USA) within 50 miles to experience the value of connecting with colleagues. You will report to the Associate Director, Software Quality Assurance, and work under the leadership of the Director, Product Software Engineering. Required Job Qualifications (3yrs minimum in role plus 2yr+ People Mgr.):

  • Team Leadership: Proficiency in managing and leading a team.
  • Automation focused manager
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, Playwright, and Cucumber or similar framework
  • Proficiency with API testing
  • Understanding of agentic AI agent testing
  • Experience with autonomous testing tools or ability to quickly learn to implement AI tools in QA automation
  • Knowledge of SAFe framework
  • Experience with Oracle or similar relational database and knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Test Strategy Development: Ability to design and implement effective test strategies.
  • Quality Metrics: Knowledge of defining and monitoring quality metrics.
  • Automation Frameworks: Experience with setting up and maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Basic project management skills for handling multiple testing projects.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze test results and make data-driven decisions.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of QA professionals.

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies.

• Oversee the execution of automated and manual testing.

• Ensure the timely identification and resolution of defects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.

• Define and monitor quality metrics and key performance indicators.

• Conduct performance reviews and provide career development opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes.

• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.

Compensation:

$89,600.00 - $157,000.00 USD

 

This role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.  Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
