Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experience Samsung Wallet QA Engineer to join our team at Samsung to ensure software quality of Samsung Wallet Digital Key features integrated in Samsung products. This candidate will be responsible for understanding the industry standard Digital Wallet and Digital Key for Car OEMs and Digital ID testing method / processes and bringing this knowledge to improve quality of Samsung Wallet to end users. 

Job Description – Focus Areas

[Quality Assurance] Examining critical user journey and test case output for each project milestones

[Process improvement] Evaluate big data / market data to pinpoint current needs and improvement areas.

[Failure case analysis] Support with collecting data to analyze software failure types and root causes.

[Collaboration] Being able to work with people outside of the team to reach a common goal

Samsung Wallet (Digital key) Job Qualification / Description

  • Experience or knowledge on test processes for Samsung Wallet
  • Experience or knowledge on mobile wallet / payment eco-system
  • Experience or knowledge on Digital key/ID and how it operates
  • Experience or knowledge on mobile software testing processes
  • Experience or knowledge using Big Data or AI for strengthening test processes
  • Experience or knowledge on UI / UX development or testing
  • Strong analytical skills which involve critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues that arise

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum 0-3 years of experience in mobile device industry
  • BS in Engineering, data science or related technical field
  • Knowledge of SDLC & QA test methodologies i.e. Agile, Waterfall
  • Strong understanding of QA best practices including test planning, test case design, defect/test management, and Bugs reporting
  • A skilled specialist that completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways with strong multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to contribute to the development of concepts and techniques as well as complete complex tasks in creative and effective ways
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions to improve quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with prompt engineering to acquire accurate results through AI solutions
  • Experience with QA project management role in a fast pace environment
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Experience with delivering / reporting results with PPT presentations to leadership
  • Experience with testing / managing any form of Digital Wallet or Application is highly desirable
  • Experience or ability to develop automation scripts in Python
  • Experience or knowledge with Digital key for Car OEM/Digital ID
  • Experience or knowledge in using / integrating AI such as LLM or any other effective AI models
  • Bi-lingual in Korean / English
